In Red and Blue you have the option of choosing a Charmander to evolve as your starting Pokemon, and in Yellow you'll find your future Charmander in the clutches of a trainer named Damien located on Route 24. LOCATION: The only way to get a Charizard is to acquire a Charmander and evolve it twice (since neither Charmeleon nor Charizard can be found in any of the games). NAME: Charizard TYPE: Flame (Fire/Flying) HEIGHT: 5' 7" WEIGHT: 200 lbs.ĮVOLUTION: evolves from Charmeleon at level 36

Charizard looks cool, fights cool, basically IS cool, and the fact that a Fire type starter performs so very poorly in the first two gyms of the original Pokemon games only makes the prize he will eventually become all the more sweet. As much as I'd like to snub this thing for being so prolific, I can't help but appreciate his amazing stats and move compatibility (not to mention his attitude.any Pokemon that comes within an inch of outright slaughtering the dorky Ash Ketchum on a regular basis is okay in my book).

Anyway, today's Pokemon is Charizard, certainly the most popular and perhaps the most well-balanced of any of the current starting Pokemon. =INTRODUCTION=īlech.I'd like to be able to say I took part of this week off to experiment with Ruby and Sapphire, but the fact of the matter is my Internet connection was simply being a butthead. YES NO(SUGGESTED, people I'm not telling you what to do) to get the most bang for your Pokébuck.
